Wonderful Show!
This was my first time seeing Whoopi Goldberg‘s Stand up so I wasn’t sure what to expect. She was absolutely wonderfully funny and unique in her storytelling delivery! Most of her act is of adult nature with language to match…life, family, love…SEX! LOL So we all could enjoy without distraction, she took a moment and gave us a few seconds to take a photo of her…and yep…the one above is my shot! Check the pose 🙂
The surprise ending was spent having a Q&A with her audience…anything we wanted to ask! She answered with such decorum, positivity, and in an easy-going way, you felt like you were just chillin’ in her living room. The most touching moment was when she signed and gave the shoes off her feet to a fan who is going thru major medical issues…and gave her a huge hug. I think most of us had tears at that moment. She really connected with those who had the opportunity to ask a question.
I would love seeing her again someday. I do wish her comedy set was longer and her Q&A (although appreciated) was shorter. All in all…a fun and funny evening!
