City Winery Nashville | Nashville TN
Wine, Dine, and Nostalgic Vibes
Have you ever had one of those nights that just keeps getting better? Well, that was me at the City Winery in Nashville! After catching Switch a few months ago in Cincinnati, I didn’t think things could top that experience. But when you’re blessed with VIP status and a spot on the guest list for their Nashville show, you know it’s about to go down in a big way.
Let me tell you, the City Winery was packed to the brim—a sold-out crowd full of fans who were ready to relive those classic R&B hits. The intimate vibe of the venue only added to the magic. The view of the stage was a bit limited at times, but that didn’t stop me from feeling the vibe of the music and soaking in the pure soul of it all.
Now, even though we were still missing Phillip Ingram (an original member), Eddie Guyton had us covered. This man carried the torch with straight-up FIRE. He filled those shoes so well, that you could feel the energy in the room hit a whole new level! The harmonies were on point, and each song brought a wave of nostalgia that washed over the crowd like a warm, soulful hug.
But wait, there’s more! As part of my VIP guest status, I got backstage passes to meet the group! That’s right—photos, handshakes, hugs and all-around good energy hanging with the legends themselves. Talk about icing on the cake. Meeting Switch in person and getting those photos will forever be one of those moments I replay in my mind with a giant smile.
So, what’s the final verdict? As much as I loved the Cincinnati concert, Nashville might have just edged it out with that personal touch and those unforgettable backstage moments. Here’s to another night of incredible music, and cherished memories!
