2nd Show, Still Hits!

Some concerts hit. Some concerts hit different the second time around.

After catching The New Edition Way Tour in Columbus from the Fan Zone (aka behind the stage šŸ‘€), I already knew what kind of night this was going to be. But this time in Cincinnati? I switched it up and was seated on the side,  and let me tell you… even from that angle, the energy was still undeniable.

Now don’t get me wrong… as I sat there, I definitely had a moment like, ā€œYeahhh… I need to see them again and actually get to see their faces and moves.ā€ šŸ˜„ But then I quickly checked myself – because honestly?

I’ve seen New Edition from every angle possible through the years.

And at the end of the day, the main ingredient has always been the same: them, the music, and us enjoying every second of it.

Same Tour… Still Electrifying

Seeing New Edition, Boyz II Men, and Toni Braxton share the stage is already a win. I’ve seen each of them separately, so I know what they bring. But together? It’s a nonstop, no-sitting, high-energy experience.

And Cincinnati? That energy stayed UP all night.  Just hit after hit, moment after moment.

Now this part right here meant something.  We were ALL happy to see Toni Braxton, because at the tour stop right before Cincinnati, she had an emergency and had to leave early without finishing the show.  So when she hit that stage in Cincinnati?  The love was real.

She came back strong, delivered like the icon she is, and the crowd made sure she felt that support the entire time. It wasn’t just about the music — it was appreciation.

And Then… There’s Bobby

Let me say this loud and clear:  No matter how many times I’ve seen New Edition… When Bobby Brown steps out?

The crowd goes WILD.  Every. Single. Time.

And Cincinnati was no exception. The energy shifted instantly, screams, people on their feet, that undeniable excitement. It’s like the whole arena collectively says, ā€œThere he is!ā€   That reaction? That’s legacy.

A Three-Hour Musical Marathon (No Breaks, Still!)

Just like Columbus,  three hours, no intermission, no warning… only a very brief DJ set…but please don’t count that as a break because you WILL miss something if you choose to leave.   Artists weaving in and out. Solo moments. Group moments. Seamless transitions.

And yes… same rule applies:   Get there early. Park. Get your food. Make that restroom stop and be READY.

Final Thoughts

Would I have loved a full front-facing view this time? Absolutely.

But sitting on the side reminded me of something important:  It’s not always about the ā€œperfect seat.ā€ It’s about the experience.

And with New Edition, Boyz II Men, and Toni Braxton? That experience is solid no matter where you’re sitting.

Because when the music hits… we’re all in it together anyway.
