What happens when several groups from the same city, come together to perform on one stage, for one night only, for a great cause?
It was a funking amazing party with Dayton’s own, Faze-O, Steve Arrington, The Original Lakeside, Zapp and…..The Ohio Players for over 3 hours! The emcees of the evening, Bootsy Collins and his wife, “Peppermint” Patti who kept the night funky without a hitch!
The purpose of this “Legends for Relief” benefit concert was to raise funds in support of the victims of the Memorial Day tornadoes that turned the Gem City, Dayton OH upside down in many areas. 😔
Thankfully the bands got together to help the cause! The show was so much fun, packed out by attendees from ages 6-106! 😉 A non-stop funk/r&b fest, a one of a kind, first time ever together event! If you were not there, you truly missed out!
The best part of it all….$109,000 was raised for the tornado victims! Once again, Dayton is STRONG! 💪🏽
