When this show was announced, I could NOT deny myself a ticket! Although I loved the Thompson Twins back in the day, I was most definitely here for Boy George & Culture Club I wasn’t sure what to expect from Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins since it was just him. He pulled it off with a terrific performance! He had a 3-piece all (young) female band accompanying him. Boy George & Culture Club took the stage and set it on FIRE! I never had the opportunity to see them in their prime, but it was always on my bucket list of concerts! Boy and the band were absolutely amazing on stage! From Boy George to the backup singers to the band performing all the hits….I could not have asked for a better show. However, I did keep wondering where Jon Moss was…hmmm
All in all it was a great, fun evening being transported back to my youth, dancing and singing to songs I thought I had forgotten! The experience was well worth the ticket price The only drawback was we could ONLY take photos with our cell phone, not a regular camera and certainly no video. I thought that was odd about the photos, but as it goes some complied, most didn’t, but I was ready either way!
