The phenomenal Carlos Camilo is a pianist, singer, composer, and producer hailing from Cuba and currently based in Miami. We were in for a special new year treat tonight with a Facebook LIVE experience. 😊
The scene felt as if I was in an exclusive lounge, sipping on a cocktail among friends as Carlos played and sang for us. The mood was chill, the music was hot! He performed some of his original tunes such as Miami Beach Vibe, Tropical Breeze, Islands Away, and one of my favorites, Dim the Lights. Carlos also played us a couple of cover songs, All This Love (DeBarge) and What a Fool Believes (Doobie Brothers) and he killed it!
Originally the performance was to be with his friend, but he took ill…(praying for his wellness) Carlos held it down on his own and brought it bilingually in English and Spanish…the flavor was all kind of 🔥! It was undeniably a whole vibe of pure excellence that served our soul well tonight.
I “discovered” Carlos and his music a few months ago and have been a huge fan ever since! Whether singing in English or Spanish, his voice takes you away. He’s very humble, super talented, amazing personality, and has a good heart! I hope to someday see him perform in person…until then, he promises to bring us more online experiences and I’m totally here for it all!
