The stage was set as The Dayton Funny Bone was transformed into a hub of laughter, poetry, and music as three stellar performers, Nephew Tommy, Celebrity the Comedian, and Se7en the Poet, united for an unforgettable evening of entertainment! It was an extraordinary event that blended laughter, inspiration, and philanthropy stemming from Nephew Tommy’s personal health journey.
The evening began with Se7en the Poet, whose poignant spoken word performances set a powerful tone, with messages of resilience and hope in a lighthearted, comedic way. We were spellbound by his artistry, powerful delivery and raw emotion.
Following Se7en was Celebrity the Comedian who took the stage, with his infectious energy and sharp wit. Celebrity entertained the crowd with his hilarious life observations and relatable humor, warming us up for the main event.
Bursting onto the stage with his trademark energy and larger-than-life personality, Nephew Tommy wasted NO time taking us on the laugh til your face and belly hurt kinda ride! He showed that he is defintiely much more than the prank caller we know him to be! He turned the night into a house party to beat all house parties! To cater to all ages that were in the building, Nephew Tommy’s DJ spun tunes to celebrate audience members ranging from 30 years old to 60 and beyond. From classic hits to modern bangers, he had all of us grooving and feeling the nostalgia of our youth.
After that the party never stopped! There were hilarious jokes and stories that had us in STICHES!! Nephew Tommy kept the energy high throughout the entire evening…we could not catch a break from laughing soooo hard!! 😂🤣
On a serious note, Nephew Tommy shared his thyroid cancer journey and introduced his “Don’t Cancer Me Out” website, in support of various types of cancer. In case you were curious…he’s back stronger than ever and it shows in his performance! He didn’t miss a beat!
