Summary
It was the Summer of 2017 when I was first ‘introduced’ to fellow Ohioan, saxophonist and Billboard chart-topper Riley Richard by his mentor, my friend/fam Najee. If you’ve never seen Riley perform LIVE, then you’re really missing out. Riley has evolved all around as a performing artist and certainly captures his audience! This night was my first catching a Facebook live stream of his.
Riley gave us an hour of his smooth and funky sounds from his home, as well as engage with us throughout his session. The time went so fast because we all were enjoying the music!
Riley played music from his albums including: “Hit The Floor”, “Family Ties”, “Between You and I”, “L.I.T.”, plus gave us a lil snippet of new material which was well received by us.
His guest Steve Johnson was unable to join in as planned, but Riley promises he will be there next time. So glad to hear there will be a next time! Be sure to catch his music LIVE on social media…and in-person when that opportunity hits again.
