Summary
I first ‘met’ Tasha DeNae as one of Fantasia‘s background singers. I soon discovered she offers so much more. Singer, Songwriter, Dancer, Actress… Tasha is a talented force! If you don’t know who she is…you betta ask sumbody! 😊
Due to the current circumstances of the world, Tasha wanted to “drop some love and light” with a donation-based live performance across her social media platforms. She invited us to her home for some sipping and singing. We were invited to make requests or we could simply sit back, sip on our tea (or whatever we chose) and enjoy the laid-back vibes.
Tasha along with Thomison Edison on keys performed tracks from her latest EP “Still” such as “Like You”, “So Drunk” and “Charm” a few covers consisted of “I’m Going Down” by Mary J Blige, “Sweet Thing” by Chaka Khan and “I Say a Little Prayer” by Dionne Warwick and closed out with “Don’t Know Why” by Norah Jones
Throughout her performance, Tasha expressed love, peace and hope with reassurance for everyone that we will get thru these times. The Sunday evening set was much needed!
